Au revoir to the Bay and on past Moonstone ski area and so home to Toronto by just after nightfall..a perfect day.
This is an arm of Georgian Bay...such a lovely sunset just for me
...and heading south down 69, I passed Wye Marsh near Midland...pretty view
Here is a farther north view...the great white north...not white yet
The rock cut on the way to Port Carling...my decision to drive home via Foot's Bay and the Georgian Bay side of things...more tunes,,,more singing...great to be solo!!
The dear old cottage is closed for the winter...the boats are all up from the lake as we have sold our boat house...hope to have a new one by the summer
...and another view..."without the fallen tree in it"....can you ever see far!!!
Here is the new unobstructed view where the tree used to stand...very OPEN
....and here is all that is left of the tree that the wind blew down last week...and Bear, our dear friend, came and chopped up and dragged away...so kind!!
Here's the "chariot" in question...just a peppy, great little CR-V Honda...fun, fun, fun
Linda taking a photo of herself in the "chief's Hat"...on my solo day to Muskoka in our new car...loud tunes, singing at the top of my voice etc.
New Indian chief headress I purchased at 75% off at the Muskoka store...what fun next summer for the Chimney Theatre shows.
Here we are...Linda and her great friend Angela, neighbour and friend in Toronto and Muskoka ...Hi Angela...here we are at the Heritage Show of Muskoka Cottages this past summer
