BIG SNOW-WINTER 2008 - SKIING TOO

We have had 130 cm. of snow so far this winter in Toronto...cost 8 million dollars to clear up with more on the way. We may beat the record which was 210 cm. in 1937.

Deep new snow on ice and crunch..commonly called "krud" made skiing really challenging...still fun, but hard!!

Emily skis with Linda at Oshawa Ski Club

I took my grand-daughter Emily to have a wonderful ski together on a Saturday. It was just so much fun, singing on the chairlift, having snacks, learning and sharing. I hope it happens again soon!!!! I loved it and so did Em.
